Molti forse si saranno accorti che questo aggiornamento \u00e8 stato pi\u00f9 lungo del solito, strano anche perch\u00e9 le novit\u00e0 pi\u00f9 evidenti sono \u201cTrova i miei AirPods\u201d e una nuova gestione dell\u2019account iCloud nelle Preferenze.<\/p>\n

In realt\u00e0 dietro le quinte l\u2019aggiornamento pi\u00f9 importante \u00e8 stato l\u2019introduzione del nuovo filesystem Apple file system o APFS. Apple aveva annunciato il nuovo APFS allo scorso WWDC, rilasciandolo in versione beta per MacOS, ma nessuno si aspettava di vederlo sui sistemi iOS cosi presto.<\/p>\n

Ma cos\u2019\u00e8 esattamente un file system? Il file system \u00e8 quella parte del sistema operativo che si occupa di interagire con il disco, quindi scrivere e leggere i dati sul disco, in pratica un buon file system garantisce che le vostre foto siano la sicuro! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Quindi, ovunque ci sia un disco c\u2019\u00e8 un file system, e tornando a noi questo vuol dire che negli iPhone, negli iPad, negli iPod e negli Apple Watch con l\u2019aggiornamento di ieri Apple ha aggiornato silenziosamente, senza dover formattare i dischi i file system di decine di milioni di dispositivi senza che nessuno si accorto di nulla.
